Please note: You have to sign up for the congress before submitting an abstract.
(After creating your log-in-ID for the abstract submission you will find a link called “Abstract Submission” on the left hand side.)
Please read the following guidelines for the abstract submission.
Submission Requirements
Abstracts may only be submitted online. All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English language.
Each oral or poster abstract should indicate the most appropriate main topic. Due to the anticipated number of excellent abstracts, the organizing committee and the session coordinators reserve the right to reassign abstracts if necessary.
All participants are invited to submit abstracts on one of the topics listed below:
Main topics for abstract submissions:
Presentation Type
Each abstract must be submitted as an oral or a poster presentation.
Oral Presentation
A limited number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentations. Oral presentations are limited to 10 minutes for presentation and five minutes for discussion. Authors should prepare presentation media that is clear enough to be seen by a large group in a room that is not completely dark. An oral presentation preview room will be available on-site for review of slides, video or computer projection before presentation.
Poster Presentation
A board will be assigned to each poster presenter to display their poster.
The poster's parameters will be provided shortly.
Time for displaying the poster will be provided shortly
Abstract Title
Your abstract title is limited up to 250 characters, including spaces. A title that includes “tissue” or ‘stem cell’ should include the species and type of tissue response stem cell used, i.e. ‘Mouse adult stem cells’.
Presenter
Each abstract may indicate only one presenter. The following data are required:
First name, surname, affiliation, e-mail address.
Co-Authors
Each abstract can include a maximum of six co-authors. The following data are required: first name, surname, affiliation, city and e-mail address.
Abstract Text
The main text body of the abstract is limited up to 2,000 characters, including spaces. The abstract text should not include authors, references or acknowledge funding sources.
Abstracts should be informative, containing objectives, methods, results and a conclusion and should contain original material neither published nor presented elsewhere prior to September 15, 2011.
No photos, graphics or charts may be submitted. All abbreviations must be defined the first time they appear in your text (please do not define in the title).
Avoid Greek letters and symbols. For the symbols ≤ or ≥, type instead <= or >=. For superscript use caret (^) e.g. 10^6 instead of 106. Instead of 'IFN-γ' use for example 'IFN-g' or 'IFN-gamma', etc.
Alternate Presentation Type
Participants must indicate if they are willing to present a poster, in case of rejection for an oral presentation.
