Dinner reservations are possible by using the registration form (.pdf or on-line system) and will be accepted first-come-first-served basis due to space limits.

Reaching the Harry's Bar is very easy and fascinating. Coming from the Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio keep walking along Lungarno Acciaiuoli, Lungarno Corsini and once you have crossed Piazza Goldoni you get to the Harry's Bar. At the end of Lungarno Acciaiuoli you can stop in Via Tornabuoni, the most elegant street of Florence, where you can find some of the most important griffes, like Ferragamo, Gucci, Yves de Saint Laurent other ones.
Registrations - cancellations and refunds
In case of cancellation it is necessary to apply in writing to O.I.C. by 20 February 2012 at the latest. The paid amount for registration will be refunded with a deduction of 70%, that will be invoiced as penalty .
No refund will be processed for cancellations received after the set indicated deadline.

IMPORTANT: the participant’s and sender’s names must be clearly indicated on the transfer order as well as the payment details, a photocopy of the transfer order must be attached to the order form. Registration can be considered valid only upon receipt of the due payment. Any application form without proof of payment can not be processed.

CONGRESS NAME BADGE
A personalised name badge is included in the congress kit for all registered participants to be collected at the secretariat desk upon arrival according to the official opening times before the sessions start. Participants are required to wear the badge during the scientific sessions and at all times since this is an official document and proof of registration.
SLIDE CENTRE
A computerised slide centre for the management of all scientific presentations is located in the meeting room (Aula Magna) and available for speakers to rehearse and upload their presentations according to the following schedule:

Speakers are invited to strictly follow the allotted times for a smooth flow of the scientific sessions. Computer projection only is available, no slide projector is at disposal in the meeting room and it is not possible to use personal laptops at the podium. The management of the scientific projections is guaranteed by this single computerised system that automatically forwards each presentation to the podium and on the main screen. Speakers are kindly requested to use PowerPoint for windows (XP version). Those speakers with PowerPoint presentations on CD Rom or USB pens must go to the slide centre at least one hour before presentation, meanwhile those with presentations on their own laptop and/or using Macintosh/Apple at least two hours before presentation in order to convert the files into windows format and/or download them on the slide system.
COFFEE BREAKS AND WORKING LUNCHES
During the congress coffee breaks and a working lunch are scheduled according to the official programme. The catering area is located near to the meeting room (Aula Magna) and to the secretariat desk.
CLOAKROOM
During the congress coats and luggage can be left in an unattended room near to the secretariat desk. The organising secretariat can not be held liable for this area.
General Information
Electricity supply
Electricity in Italy is supplied at 220/230V - 50Hz AC. Please bring the appropriate converter plug, if necessary. Also, Italian electrical outlets are the two-pin type and thus will not work with American plugs
Insurance and Liability
In registering for the Adult Progenitor Cell Standardization formation participants agree that neither the organizing committee nor the congress office assume any liability whatsoever. It is the responsibility of participants, exhibitors and accompanying persons to be properly and adequately insured, i.e. make their own arrangements, regarding health and travel insurance.
Language
The official congress language will be English.
Letter of invitation
If required, the congress office will send you a letter of invitation after your payment has been received. It should be understood that this letter is only to help participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa, and is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide financial support. Due to the fact that consulates and embassies need a lot of time to process a visa request, we advice you to ask for a letter of invitation at your earliest convenience.
